Scope :
Owner's Engineer services for projects led by the Regional Management at their North-East, Catatumbo-Orinoquía, Minor Fields Divisions.
North -East Division.
Natural Gas Processing Plant - Cupiagua Field.VQ provided Owner's Engineer services for the construction and start-up of the Cupiaga Gas Processing Plant. The Plant's nominal processing capacity was designed to be 210 miIlion cubic feet of gas per day (MSCFD), becoming the largest gas processing facility in Colombia. Total capital cost of the project was approximately US$222 million.
The scope of VQ's services included:- Planning, project management and coordination.
- Planning, project management and coordination.
- Technical support and construction quality assurance/quality control (CQA/QC)
- HSE compliance verification.
- Project closure.
Cupiagua and South Cupiagua fields:
- Production wells NW 40/43, XD 44, XB 31 optimization.
- Electrical and instrumentation monitoring during well work-overs.
- Technical support and construction quality assurance/quality control (CQA/QC)
- HSE compliance verification.

Gibraltar Field:
- Quality Assurance/Quality Control (QA/QC) for the engineering design, procurement and construction of the Gibraltar Gas Plant.
- Quality Assurance/Quality Control (QA/QC) for the engineering design, procurement and construction of the Gibraltar Gas Plant.
Catatumbo - Orinoquía Division:
Management and project supervision services included:- Fifteen (15) exploration and development wells: well pads and access roads construction, power and surface equipment installations.
- Well abandonment plan implementation.
- Environmental remediation of six well sites.
- North and South Sardinata Fields: Trunk lines and gathering system construction.
- Rio Zulia River Facilities: Station fiare system installation.
- Petrolea Battery: Crude oíl storage facilities.
- GS1 and GS2 Rio Zulia Facilities: Power supplyrel iability project implementation.
- Fifteen (15) exploration and development wells: well pads and access roads construction, power and surface equipment installations.
- Well abandonment plan implementation.
- Environmental remediation of six well sites.
- North and South Sardinata Fields: Trunk lines and gathering system construction.
- Rio Zulia River Facilities: Station fiare system installation.
- Petrolea Battery: Crude oíl storage facilities.
- GS1 and GS2 Rio Zulia Facilities: Power supplyrel iability project implementation.
- Tibú Oil Field: 34.5 KV Power distribution system associated with the Tibú Oil Field's generation facilities.
- Tibú Oíl Field: Water injection system including associated wells.

Sardinata Gas Plant:- Upgrades to increase the Sardinata Gas Plant capacity to deliver up to 5 million standard cubic feet of gas per day (MSCFD) to Cúcuta City, Campo Giles Field, Campo Dos Field and Tibú municipality.
- Sardinata gas field upgrades includes: acquisitions, procurement, construction, testing and commissioning of surface facilities.
- Tibú Oil Field: 34.5 KV Power distribution system associated with the Tibú Oil Field's generation facilities.
- Tibú Oíl Field: Water injection system including associated wells.
- I-21 Station - Tibú Oil Field: fire protection system optimization and industrial wastewater treatment system.
