In 2004 VQ obtained ISO 9001:2000 certification through ICONTEC, which has subsequently been maintained, updated, and expanded. In 2019, with the Colombian Security Council as a certification body, and under standard ISO 9001:2015, VQ INGENIERIA is certified with the following scope: "Project Management (planning, procurement and supervision) for infrastructure, oil and gas, industrial and energy sectors; including crude oil refining, petro chemical and gas plants. Supervision, quality and technical assurance of engineering projects, including basic and detail engineering. Supervision of health, safety, environmental and quality (HSEQ) activities. Supervision, quality and technical assurance of architectural and engineering designs”.
